Score!

In my quest to find a couple pairs of jeans and not pay full retail, I have been haunting the local salvation army and goodwill stores.  Jeans are apparently in high demand... So I've not found any.

Today while the kids were working the pet adoption event, DH and I were able to go to the aforementioned stores.  Still no jeans  but I decided to look for a hoodie.

That's when I saw it, a dark hoodie, or was it a jacket? It looked dark green in the store lighting  but was actually black.  It was in my size.  It also said. Carhartt on the tag!  Carhartt is good stuff and typically expensive.

I latched onto it   $8 out the door.  It retails new for $75. This one is just getting broken in. No damage to it at all.

Fall

Fall has always been my  favorite time of year.  And it is in full swing here in  Texasas.  The temps have dropped  the  A/C is off, the windows are open,  and the rains have come.

Tonight is damp and chilly, and too cold for ice cream for dessert.  So instead I opted for a cup of hot chocolate!  It was a nice change of pace.
