Looks like we will get rain soon... this plant usually flowers a day or two before rain.
I just have the common sage that gets rather leggy in the summer. This is a gorgeous variety~
Nancy, this isn't a real "sage" but rather a shrubby bush planted decoratively in TX.
I need a weather sign like that. We are never going to get hay because the weather says scattered which means usually over a fresh cut hay field. They are beautiful and useful. B
What a beautiful plant...never heard of it!...:)JP
Oh how pretty. I have some sage, but it must be a different type, as it has a different look than yours.
What a beautiful plant, is it a succulent?
No it is not a succulent. It is a woody shrub.
It's Leucophyllum frutescens, or Texas Sage as it is also called.
I blog for myself, my family and friends, and of course the Hounds! I love to read your comments, and I always read them all. But if you are here just to shill your own product, or are a spammer, don't waste your time or mine.
