Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!

I think we are all in for a serious problem...I think they're back...no not the ghosts in the TV from Poltergeist, but rather these guys, the Killer Tomatoes!

See, my mom recently bought a tomato at the store.  Common enough, right?  Well, she prefers to peel them before slicing to eat.  She dunked it in boiling water a couple seconds to make it easy to slip the skin off....

and she was totally surprised to see this!
Strange sprouted tomato.
Yes, it had begun to sprout all its seeds.  Neither of us had ever seen the like before.  I think it's a sign...

    LOL, looking above - I accidentally deleted SIX comments today - I was going to bulk publish them. I felt soooo bad afterwards! Stupid phone indeed.

    I have NEVER seen a tomato like that. It's like it's growing alfalfa sprouts. Scary.

    Wow, that's the first time I've ever seen something like that and we grow our own tomatos. Now I'm worried that they're plotting something nefarious! I'm running for the hills y'all! *lol*
