I know many of my readers are snow bound, tired of this winter, some struggling with personal things...loss, hurt, fear, uncertainty and more. This post then is for you.
“While there's life, there's hope.”
--Marcus Tullius Cicero
Is that a hint of color amidst the fallen oak leaves I spy? |
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Daffodils planted last fall, a gift from my Mom. |
1Cor. 13:4-8a
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.Even in the midst of winter, this bush will always blossom. |
No sign of daffodils here! Course I didn't plant any ;-) I do, however, have tulips and crocuses that I look forward to seeing in a couple of months.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I see on the forecast, any sprouting will be a long time coming... but it will come. Happy you are seeing some changes in your area. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and inspiration. Thank you from us all. Hug B
ReplyDeleteI used to think it would be a lark to have snow here (SE Georgia), but after seeing what others are going through up North and in the Midwest, they can keep it. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's true, while there's life, there's hope (real hope, not the Hopey Changey lie). I forget that too sometimes. Thank you for the reminder of our Lord's mercy.
Have a blessed day. ~:)
Beautiful, both your photos and the verse. Prayers coming your way for your family.
