  1. You have my prayers and my deepest sympathy. I read about your loss over a Brigid's place. Charlie looks like he was a good dog.

It's kind of dusty where I'm sitting today. Bye Charlie.

  2. Oooooooo, I am So Sorry. I know there isn't really anything i can type that will help. I like to imagine my friend Buddy met your friend Charlie and is at this very moment showing and sharing all the best bits of Paradise.

I wish i were there to do nothing w/you for a while.

    I Do Understand.
AND, I know it's all about love.

  5. So sorry for your loss. Their unconditional love is as close as we get to GOD's love here on earth, and, when WE get to heaven, all of the dogs we ever loved will be there to greet us.

  6. Godspeed, Charles. I can just see Zoe, Noah, Willie, Smaky, and Simminy preparing your welcome to the Beautiful Green Meadow right now.

  7. Brigid said Charlie was a rescue. You were worthy of him.

Very sorry for your loss, there is so little anyone can say at a time like this other than I hope you will have some peace.

He gave you his all, forgave every slight and took all the love you could give, for he was a dog and dogs are all of that.

    Dogs are so wonderful...

  8. I'm so sorry. He's got a lot of good dogs to play with in the giant dog park in the sky.

  9. Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts.

Cap'n Jan: Yes Charlie was a rescue. All our dogs are via rescue actually.

Pookie: My dear friend, you know as well as I do, that Zoe is administering nose-smacks right and left, Willie is lying in the sun, Smacky is hiding, Noah is glaring fiercely at him, and Simminy is perched up somewhere high and out of dog-reach demanding he acknowledge her as Mistress of the Universe!

Brigid & AFSarge: He was my best buddy, my starter-child, for I got him 2 years before I had our own children (2 legged kind). He really was a special dog. And as much as it hurts now, at least I know my heart has room for more dogs to love.

  15. I came over via The Old AF Sarge. Sorry to hear about your loss. The loss of a devoted canine family member can be devastating. God bless him, and you.
